Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona daoibh - Happy St Patrick’s Day to everyone celebrating in Salford and beyond x ☘️ Read more from @leftfootforwardonline here: From housing to workers’ rights, environmental protection and healthcare, I'm working every day to support residents across Salford. Good to be out and about over the weekend in Pendleton and Charlestown with hardworking Team @SalfordLabour Councillors and members, speaking to local residents and picking up plenty of casework. Thank you to everyone we spoke to and those who came along! Happy Mother's Day ❤️ I joined UNISON members on the picket line at Salford Royal this morning. NHS staff deserve fair pay for the extra hours they work. Solidarity with workers across the Northern Care Alliance standing up for their Agenda for Change overtime terms. ✊ New data from Bowel Cancer UK shows around 1 in 4 bowel cancer patients are diagnosed in an emergency, often when the disease is more advanced. I've joined MPs writing to the Prime Minister calling for action to improve early diagnosis and outcomes. Labour changed Britain for women: delivering the Equal Pay Act, Sex Discrimination Act, maternity rights and flexible working. So proud to see Salford’s community coming together. 🌈 Huge well done to @weastepride for raising £442.36 for George House Trust. Events like this show the very best of Salford.
