Merry Christmas

As we approach the festive period, I wanted to take a moment to wish you and your loved ones a peaceful and Merry Christmas break.

This time of year gives us the chance to reflect, cherish our loved ones around us, and above all appreciate the incredible people who make Salford what it is. From our fantastic councillors and City Mayor, to the council workforce, our public services staff, volunteers, charities, and community organisations, to all our local campaigners and Labour activists, who have all gone above and beyond to support people across Salford this year and every year, to keep our city moving forward.

I also want to thank our Salford Labour team, our CLP and Branch officers who keep us going, by organising meetings and campaigning, knocking on doors and delivering leaflets in all conditions, helping to bring people together and keep our movement strong. Also a huge thank you to my brilliant Office team, who help support me and our residents all year round.

Salford is a place like no other, where we continue to show what is possible when people pull together with compassion, determination, and a shared sense of purpose. Salford is more than a place; it is a community built on solidarity and pride, and I am incredibly proud and privileged to serve as your MP.

So as the year draws to a close, I hope you’re able to spend some quality time with the people who matter most to you. May I send you my very best wishes for a lovely Christmas and a hopeful, healthy New Year.

With warmest wishes,

Becky
